Description: The ZMT4-X Transmitter is a larger version of the ZMT4 with increased battery life and durability, while retaining the standard ZMT3 features including simultaneous transmission and internal recording with time code, encrypted audio, ZHD modulation, ZaxNet remote control, and NeverClip. It has two Microdot inputs so it can tramsit input from two seperate lavaliers at the same time. The ZMT4-X uses a larger Motorola BT100 battery for up to 12 hours of runtime and 48 hours of standby time on a single charge. It's designed with tough nylon polymer and rubber materials for even better protection against shocks, bumps, and drops. In addition to durability and battery life, the ZMT4-X is packed full of features you'd expect from a Zaxcom transmitter. The ZMT3-X is fully ZaxNet™ compatible, allowing for remote time code jamming, frequency changing, input gain adjustment, and power output mode. The ZMT4-X is also capable of simultaneous transmission to a QRX receiver and recording to an internal SD card for an immediate backup file. If you're recording in an area of crowded spectrum, the ZMT4-X can turn on ZHD modulation, to increase the number of channels in a single MHz of bandwidth up to nine, to make more space for your transmissions when available frequencies are at a premium. The two Microdot inputs can accept up to two lavaliers. Both microphones can transmit at the same time in stereo mode for double-miking talent with a single transmitter or just one microphone in mono mode. Zaxcom's internal recording system can record from the microphones whether the transmitter is transmitting or not. If security is a concern on your production, the ZMT4-X encrypts its audio signals while transmitting so they can't be picked up by a third party.
