Xmaxx Window Vents and Fan Mount Kit. (Set of 5)

Description: Fits Stock Xmaxx Body (Set of 5) These vents mount to the stock body using the included hardware. The Fan mounting hardware is NOT included. The rear vent includes two fan guards to protect your choice of 40mm fans. The side window vents can mount 30mm fans. There are different bundles and colors available. Please look carefully at the bundles and choose what you need for your application. Installation of the Side Window Vents: First Line up the flat mounting brace to the outside of the window. The brace should perfectly line up to the window outline. Next, drill out the mounting holes and temporarily mount the brace to the outside of the window with just a couple M3x10mm bolts. (These are the 5 holes on the outer edge of the brace.) Then, trace the air vents and drill out the 4 fan mounting holes. (The air vents are the small square hole and the rectangle hole in the brace.) After that is done, remove the brace from the body and cut out the air vents. Now it's time to assemble it all. First, attach your choice of 30mm fan and mounting hardware to the inner brace and body. (Fan mounting hardware is not included in the kit) Then, line up the outer vent to the body and inner brace with the five M3x10mm mounting bolts that are included in the kit. Finally, secure the outer vent to the body and inner brace with 5 of the included lock nuts. (Pictures shown are the version without the fan mount. The version with the fan mount is very similar, just follow the extra steps for mounting the fans.) Installation of the Rear Fan Mount: First line up the flat mounting brace to the outside of the body. Then, drill out the two mounting holes and secure the brace with 2 of the included M3x10mm bolts and M3 Lock Nuts. (These are 2 holes on the Left and Right of the brace).(Don't worry about the outer mounting bracket yet. You will want to make all the holes with just the brace for now.) Now, drill out the 8 fan mounting holes and trace the 2 large circle air vents. Then, remove the brace and cut out those air vents. Once you are done with that it is time to assemble everything. Take the outer bracket and the M3x10mm bolts and line it up to the outside of the body. Line up the inner brace onto the bolts and use two M3 lock nuts to secure everything to the body. Next grab your choice of 40mm fans and mounting hardware (This fan mounting hardware is not included in the kit) and attach the fans to the inside of the body. Great Job!
