WW1 Silk Postcard. Unusual Design, "To My Dearest" Embroidered Below Flap, c1916

Description: This is an excellent original WW1 silk postcard, beautifully embroidered with "To My Dearest" in bright red beneath the opening flap and a small card insert that was inside the pocket that says "To My Dear Neice" in gold lettering. This is a design that I have not had before, a lovely silk in excellent condition. See scans. Buyers please note: I usually try to do my posting as soon as eBay pay me, however, as our village Post Office has been closed I now have to drive a 12 mile round trip to get to another one. Therefore I now try to do my post once a week, so please bear with me! For all items where the sale price is £20.00 or under, and the destination is to a UK address the postage cost will be a flat £1.30p. If the final sale price is over £20.00 then I will send it via Royal Mail Signed For at a cost of £2.75p which is cost price to me. For overseas items the shipping cost will be £2.75p for postcards, and as stated in my invoice for heavier items. Where the sale price is over £20.00 I must now charge for International Tracked & Signed at a flat cost of £7.95p. This will be quoted for in my invoice when payment is requested. I do regret the need for this, but I am not prepared to lose any more money through Paypal reclaims due to items going missing in the post. I am sure you will appreciate my problem, plus this will safeguard these top-quality cards and items in transit. Customers may pay by personal cheque, postal order or Paypal as well as via eBay.
