I stayed at the hotel and received this Guide when I checked-in.The Front Desk Receptionist used a red ballpoint pen to write my room number, floor number, and building on the front of the Guide. The building and suggested parking lot was circled on the inside map.It is a tri-fold Guide. When fully opened it measures 17.5" x 10"Glossy, thick paper stock with 10 color photographs. The large color map inside fills up two panels. The top edge of the Guide has some wear - no rips, but wrinkles. This Guide is a very important and interesting piece for any Disney collector or hotel historian. The cover of the Guide notes the Disneyland Hotel is "A Wrather Hotel" but also the "Official Hotel of the Magic Kingdom." Jack Wrather owned and operated the hotel from 1955 - 1988. In 1988 Disney acquired the hotel. In 1999 the hotel and grounds were significantly downsized to make way for the Disneyland Resort expansion. For anyone who ever visited the Disneyland Hotel and recalls the evening "Dancing Waters Show," shopping at Seaports of the Pacific, sipping a cocktail at one of the many wonderful restaurants and bars (the only place at that time on Disney property that served alcohol), or boarding the monorail at the Monorail Plaza for a glamorous ride to Disneyland Park... this brochure is for you!The Guide is identified on the back panel as: 1011/487/100MThe item has been stored since 1987 in a pet free, smoke free, and climate controlled environment.
