This film frame is from the 1970s bizarre election night campaign promotion of Mr. Clean Headquarters as a promotion for Lemon Refresh Mr. Clean. Mr. Clean for President. Mr. Clean was created by Linwood Burton and Mathusan Chandra Mohan as a cleaner for the Marin Corps. Burton developed Mr. Clean in an effort to clean ships without having to pay significant premiums in disability claims for his workers. He sold the product to Procter & Gamble in 1958 but his was the face of the product with his signature hoop earring in his left earlobe. Depicted as a muscular bald man wearing all white and wearing one earring, Mr. Clean was animated and also portrayed in the 50 and 60s by Detroit actor, Mark Dana. Mr. Clean's design has remained mostly consistent to this day. Film is in good condition. Cut around the black circle on the right and uncut on the left for easy handling.
