Description: Large Art Deco PH POUL HENNINGSEN BIRD SLAG GLASS CHANDELIER LAMP SHADE. Fixture is in great condition no chips, cracks or breaks to any slag glass I can find. Fixture has 18 panels of slag glass 9 green and 9 chocolate. Chocolate color measure 9 1/2 x 7 inches wide. Green 7 inches long x 4 inches wide. The lead and brass frame also is good condition. The frame has a cool floral design with swallows. Shade fame is marked PH which was designed by famous designer POUL HENNINGSEN. Author, architect and critic Poul Henningsen contributed greatly to the cultural life of Denmark through his design and literary work. As a designer, his lamps were perhaps his most important contribution; the PH-lamp, his namesake product created in 1925. Measures: 22 INCHES WIDE X 14 INCHES TALL AND WEIGHS 25 POUNDSNo cracks or chips. Single bulb. Warm colors. Chain is adjustable. We have it about 12" from ceiling. It can go lower or higher.
