Description: Lakewood steel scattershield for SB,BB(348,409) Chevy,fits 1955-72 chassis,clutch bellcrank mount to late 1970's,includes early throw-out arm & bearing.accepts' Saginaw,Borg Warner T10,Muncie & Doug Nash ; 4,5 speeds Some one cut out the bottom to use on the street(easier clutch change) apparently later re-welded to function as a proper scatter shield.I bought one of these brand new in the 1980's,so I am very familiar with these.had it bolted up to a 327 & 409 and used Super T-10 BW, later a Doug Nash 5-Speed~(NOTE: this is not pre-drilled to accept 55-57 rear motor mount plates.)good workingsome trimming on bell housing starter mount (early use)bottom has been cut & rewelded.missing thin plate that fits behind flywheel ⭐We strive to be factual & accurate as possible.
