Description: Gorgeous, rare vintage brooch by McClelland Barclay. It is unsigned but if you search for his Art Deco flower designs, it is very recognizable. He has signature gem colors, repeating diamante designs, and a heavy ornateness. If you're a collector, then you probably already know that McClelland's jewelry, as a whole, is uncommon due to him being an artist (not specifically a jewelry designer). All of his pieces were manufactured in Rhode Island in the Rice-Weiner factory. Although they also happened to manufacture pieces for the brand "Barclay", McClelland Barclay and Barclay are actually not related to one another. Huge and dimensional, over 2" in diameter. Very Good vintage condition. All rhinestones are clear and present. Functional clasp. Weighty and well made. Please look at the photos for detailed images and measurements. Due to the age and collectible nature of many of the items sold, there are NO RETURNS. Smoke free home. Thank you for looking and have a great day!
