This sterling silver ring is unusual in that it opens down the middle in front. Currently a size 12, it can expand larger but not smaller. The green stones are Russian Diopside. Chrome diopside (the less glamorous name for this lovely stone) is the rare translucent variety of the gemstone-quality calcium magnesium silicate. This variety is chromium-rich, causing the beautiful green coloration. The metal is Sterling silver. The face of the ring is 1 1/4" high . Overall pre owned condition is excellent.
