Description: Vintage Teacup The Royal Collection Queen Victoria Tea Cup & Saucer England The Royal Collection Trust tea cup and saucer set was designed to commemorate the life of Queen Victoria (1819-1901). Queen Victoria succeeded to the throne at the age of 18 and reigned over one of the most remarkable periods of growth, change and discovery whilst the British Empire was at its peak. This set takes its inspirations from English bone china commissioned by Queen Victoria for teh Great Exhibition of 1851. Made in Staffordshire, England using traditional methods unchanged for 250 years, and hand finished using 22 carat gold. Bottom of cup and saucer reads: The Royal Collection Tea Cup and Saucer To Commemorate the Golden Age of Queen Victoria 1819-1901Fine Bone China Made in EnglandThe tea cup measures 4" (10cm) in diameter and is 2 1/8" (5.5 cm) tall. The saucer measures 5 5/8" (14.2 cm) in diameter. This item was sold through Harrods. In very admirable condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. No loss of paint or gold trim.
