Description: Collectors estate sale. -Stone Candles were inspired by the intricate designs in glass of African trade beads and millefiore (thousand flower) paper weights. -Each candle is handmade by stretching a multicolored piece of wax veneer over a clear wax core. The veneer designs are made by rolling sheets of colored wax into rods which are bundled together and then sliced crosswise.
