Description: Vintage Mah Jong Set E. S. Lowe, 152 Bakelite tiles. From early 1960’s, I’m dating it 1960 to 1962 based on my research. I am not an expert, this is from information I found on line as well as from the previous owner who was the original owner. They couldn’t put an exact date on it, just remembered it was in the early 60’s.In great shape for its age, shows signs of wear from normal use, definitely not abused. There is a little wear on edges of case and there is no key for the case. Please look at pictures to draw your own conclusions on overall condition. I bought this because I was intrigued by its condition with the intention of keeping it. I have since decided to sell it, hopefully to someone who has the same appreciation for the quality, condition and history this represents. There are 152 tiles in very good condition, 5 racks, 2 sets of dice and a bettor. One set of dice is vintage and the other is definitely more modern. There is a partially used sheet of Joker stickers as well. A few of the tiles have the jokers stickers applied. There are a couple of tiles that are true jokers. Look at pictures to see tiles with stickers and joker tiles. This set is in very good to excellent condition. Please look at all pictures to see condition of everything before purchasing.
