It is meant to look like a Monarch Butterfly has landed with its wings folded from the front view. The bag has a date code of VI0951, which would be from May 1991 in France. It was painted with Angelus leather paint, and sealed with a urethane sealer for the best durability. The imperfections on the bag are things you would expect from general wear. The brass and leather parts look worn. There is cracking on some of the leather parts such as the piping, handles, and tags. Imperfections are minimal. However, the bright butterfly is what catches the eye and draws attention away from these things. The interior of the bag is clean and there arent any unusual smells.
