You're looking at a very special item. This is an original item from the 1940s. This ITO TMY 18 Dragon Boat is ready for the collection or to operate. With motor.Boat measures 18" x 6" x 4.5"Motor measures 3" long x 2 1/8" wide x 1 1/8" high. If you collect vintage model or toy boats, this is one of those things you have to grab when you see it. This boat is highly sought after. Upon testing, it works. We used new batteries, and it worked greatI believe the motor to be a #107A large motor. The lights work sometimes, usually not. Missing the battery cover and the metal fin these have on the top of the front deck. It works well (with good batteries--we first tested with bad batteries!). The steering wheel switch works well--turning it on and off. The lamps came on, then went off, so they work but may need wiring or a ground. Cosmetically has paint chips, cracks in the paint, some age related yellowing, nicks in wood top. Part on front top is broken. Some oxidation on metal parts. Please examine pics for yourself.
