Description: 1950s Glolite Santa 30 Inch in Original Box with History. This GLOLITE santa is in amazing condition for its age. These are very fragile and the plastic on this one is as good as you can get. This one was sold from Frank Keller's Superette in Glassport, Pennsylvania in the early 1950s. The stickers from the "Frank Keller's Superette" are on the original shipping box and I have included a picture of them as well as some history of Frank and Sarah's Superette in the tribute to Sarah. I have also included an advertisement from 1953 which shows this item. In the 1950s toys and holiday articles were often sold in grocery stores and convenience stores. Sarah Keller sounds like quite a lady. Own a great piece of 1950s Christmas nostalgia with an item that you know exactly where it was sold. And oh yes, it lights up perfectly.
