Description: Here's a vintage radio from the early sixties. The cabinet has some small chips and scratches, but otherwise looks pretty good. The tuner is not very sensitive, and the local area has no strong radio stations, so it didn't receive any stations very well. The owner's manual suggests hooking up an external antenna. It has surprisingly good sound for the technology of the time. Clear and spacious, but not able to handle being turned up very loud. The RCA connections for the external speakers and phonograph are working as well. With an external tuner the sound was even better. Similar radios are available one eBay with a 'B" or a 'C" in the model number, which is a reference to what kind of wood was used to build the case. This one has no extra letter, but it looks like it is made of walnut. This item is heavy, so shipping may be a bit costly.
