Description: Offering an old LUXOR PURFINA ("RAFFINERIE DE PETROLE DU NORO") as a collectionpiece. It's made of Brass and was; at one time, plated with a silver tone metal. It has the 1927 French Ministere Finances Tax Seal superimposed CI (contributions indirectes) facing each other, used 1927-45. However, there was likely an interruption in manufacturing during WWII; because, Brass and Copper was used exclusively for the manufacturing of ammunition. Mechanical: It still lights. The lift arm tension is week. I replaced the Cotton waddling and the fuel screw. Cosmetics: Obvious wearing of previous plating, almost completely worn off, see pics.
