Description: This is a vintage Case SR6220 “Peanut” pattern pocket knife. The tang stamp is CASE XX USA 1 dot 1979.The knife is 2-3/4” closed with brass liners and nickel silver pins. The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.Both blades have strong snap with half stops.The blades are tight with no side-to-side wobble."Smooth Rose" bone handles have great color - no cracks or damage. A near mint knife - never sharpened, carried, or cleaned, original factory blade finish and edges."Near Mint" due to a few tiny specks on the blades.Included is the vintage Case “pumpkin” box shown in the photos. The handles on this knife were crafted from South American Zebu cattle shin bone. Genus/Species - Bos indicus or Bos taurus indicus.
