Description: Vintage Bausch and Lomb Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses Black- 62/14- G-15 Lenses Unisex These glasses pre-date the 1982 Ray-Ban etching on the lenses, but of course still have the awesome G-15 grey/green lenses that were originally developed for the military pilots to cut down on glare and aid in eye protection. They're some of the best quality, anti-glare, impact and scratch resistant lenses ever made. The lenses are laser etched BL at both hinges. The black matte metal frames are fully adjustable and stamped B&L Ray-Ban USA on top of the nose bridge, and B&L Ray-Ban 6214 underneath. This correlates to the size of the lenses and nose bridge for a total of 138 mm across the front of the frame. The right ear stem is stamped Frame- W. Germany. The only defect is shown in pics and is a spot on right ear stem where the paint is missing. The metal is fully intact with no defects, the paint is just not there. This area measures approximately 1/4". This is a unisex style that really does look good on anyone, and the black looks sleek, sexy, and goes with anything. Great for any look, any occasion. They did not produce anywhere near as many black color frames as gold, making them more rare and harder to find.
