Vintage Arranbee R & B Little Angel 22 Inch Doll with St Blonde Caracul Wig

Description: Little Angel Arranbee introduced the Little Angel in 1947. She has a hard plastic head on a cloth body, and stuffed latex limbs that made the doll feel more like a real baby than other dolls with hard bodies. Sadly, many of these dolls did not hold up well. The latex darkened with age on many of the dolls. This doll however is still amazing and does not show any darkening. The back of her neck is marked R & B. She is such a beautiful doll, and in great condition for her age. Her eyes are still bright and clean and the whites still white and she seems to have all eyelashes. Her eyes open and close perfectly. She does have some missing paint on her eyelids, which only shows when her eyes are closed. We also noticed her cloth body is a bit dingy and some of the seams at the shoulder and crotch have come loose. She no longer cries. We have dressed her in a little vintage long sheer white gown with lace trim and satin bows at the bodice. The dress is very fragile and has a mommy repair in the center of the bodice. The lace also needs to be retacked in a couple of places. On her feet are hand crocheted booties. The payment is due within two days of purchase.
