Vintage 1965 Collegeville Werewolf Wolfman Halloween Monster Mask Costume in Box

Description: This is a "Caveman" Halloween monster mask and costume released by Collegeville in 1965, as part of their No. 100 Range Special Promotion line. I'm calling it as I see it; this clearly looks like a werewolf to me. The upper lip of the mask may look a bit simian, but I think this was a way for Collegeville to sell a Wolfman mask & costume, without having to pay the licensing to Universal Studios to use the Wolfman name. This mask includes the window box and the fabric costume that features a cool image of the Wolfman bursting from a catacomb to satisfy his bloodlust. The mask and costume look like they have never been worn. The mask does have some light, unnoticeable paint wear on the ridges of the hair and paint rubbing on the nose from the box lid. There is also an unnoticeable .50" crack in the white area of the hair on the right side and a .50" crack in outer corner of the right eye. The elastic string is loose and starting to unravel. The rayon costume is close to perfect condition. Since this has been folded for 57 years, it may take a good steaming to get the fold creases out. There does seem to be a slight, unnoticeable, age-related discoloration along some of the folds. The box lid is a bit dented with creases and has a .50" tear on the right side of the pumpkin. The upper right corner is worn all the way through. The box lid window is split down the middle and in the upper right corner of the pumpkin. There is also a .50" diameter hole near the stem of the pumpkin. *I combine shipping for all items that will safely fit in the same packaging and not increase the weight significantly.
