Beneath the lion the crystals are arranged around a delicate chain link pattern. It has a push-slide closure that features a crystal at its center. To add to the creature's strong presence, two light green stones serve as his eyes, which almost seem to glow. The interior is leather. This minaudiere is in good condition. There are a few missing crystals throughout the clutch and there is visible darkening to certain areas where those crystals used to be. This minaudiere is over 50 years old.
