The removable helmet, weapon and card are professionally produced... virtually identical to the original items.Condition: The item is in great condition with no broken wires. This figure has been safely stored in a smoke free home inside a plastic tote. It's amazing how this figure as come 50+ years into the future and still looks nice. History: The Outer Space Men (OSM), also known as the Colorform Aliens, is a group of seven "bendy" action figures (similar to Mattel's Major Matt Mason) produced by the Colorforms Company in 1968 to capitalize on the very popular Mattel's Major Matt Mason craze and created by Birnkrant (original OSM inventor). These Outer Space Men featured the same bendable style body as the Major Matt Mason line, which were a rubber-like material molded over a wire armature. Unfortunately the wire frame often suffers from metal fatigue, breaking at the shoulder, elbow, knee, and hip joints, giving these toys a limited life span.
