Vintage 1960-70s LEGO Lot Patent Pending Side Pip 450+ Pieces Wheels Roof Window

Description: For sale is a lot of vintage 1960-1970s era legos most are marked with pat. Pend. And/or have a side pip dating them back to this time period. There are 458 pieces included in this lot which was compiled from what we had on hand to match Set #502 as best as possible. Set is primarily missing yellow and smaller pieces but includes the more unique pieces such as the wheels, doors, large base plates, roof slopes and windows. This set wasn’t designed to build something specific as many do now, but was rather a general collection of pieces to build multiple items it seems. Does not include any instructions or original box/container. Pieces are in fair condition considering their age, they have some discoloring and “nicks” on them. Some are in better condition than others, the white pieces seem to have more discoloring and nicks on them from use, perhaps the material used was softer and more prone to damage than other colors. The clear pieces are yellowed with age also. Pieces have been reasonably cleaned with dish soap or windex and have been stored for all these years in a non-smoking home. These were my husband’s when he was growing up, so should be from mid/late 60’s to early 1970s. I have tried my best to identify the pieces and kits they came from using the rebrickable website & put them back together as best as possible, that is the basis for the list of pieces included. The listing of pieces should be pretty accurate, but may not be 100% (I’m human), but the pieces in all the photos will be included in this listing. Pieces with highly notable defects have been noted, but is not a comprehensive list due to the quantity of bricks that would have to be scrutinized!
