Description: Very Large Twin Quartz Crystal with Rainbow This large crystal, from Brazil, is a tantalizing quartz with a twin formation.This crystal has a gleaming translucency in the upper areas and fades to a more milky lower shaft. There appears to be an internal self healed fissure between the two segments of the crystal. The termination is in two distinct segments. On the right angle one can make out multiple phantom lines in the larger segment. There is also a vibrant rainbow in between the two segments. Most of the facets have been polished with the remaining facets and all shaft surfaces completely natural. The shaft is covered with glyph etchings and the base is self-healed. There are trace inclusions floating near the surface on two sides and a small single crystal perpendicularly penetrates the shaft.This magnificent quartz crystal measures an impressive 8 1/2" tall, 4" by 3 1/2" wide and weighs 6 1/2 pounds.A twin crystal is said to be helpful in retaining one's individuality within a relationship.
