Description: U.S. Civil War Model 1860 Cavalry Sword without Scabbard. Blade is marker marked and dated U.S. J.F. 1865 and hard to make out the Ames MFG banner address mark on other side of blade. Blade with much greying and several edge nicks on blade. Leather covered grip very worn condition, however, wire wrap still intact. Blade length appears to be approximately 34 3/4 inches in length, sword overall approximately 40 1/2 inches in length, Overall, very heavily worn condition, sword only, no scabbard.
