Description: Unsigned Pierre-Auguste Renoir Etching Measurements unframed: 7.5 inches x 5.75 inches framed: 18.75 inches 14.75 inches The Etching This beautiful etching by Pierre-Auguste Renoir features a lovely scene of a Reclining Female Nude, made in Paris, France, Europe, and dates from approximately 1906. Created on high-quality paper, this medium-sized piece measures approximately 19 inches in length and 14 inches in height (framed). It is an unsigned original print and part of a limited edition. The illustration art style captures the essence of the early mid to late 1800’s and the reclining female depicted adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to any room. Perfect for art collectors or those looking to add a unique piece to their collection, this approximately 118 year-old etching by a world renowned artist is a must-have. Provenance I received this framed-under-glass etching in 1995 from a friend, who at the time lived in Gramercy Park, NYC. Prior to his NYC residence he'd lived in Canada’s Northwest Territories for a decade, and, prior to that, Quebec, CN. For most of his adult life he possessed a pilot license and routinely flew between Canada's western and eastern provinces, and Europe, and was gifted this etching as payment for one of those flights. The etching offered in this listing is a duplicate of the etching previously exhibited at the Philadelphia Museum Of Art, and described here: https://philamuseum.org/collection/object/7045
