Description: Three Vintage Malachite Cabochons--One is a Doublet. Back in the early '90's, I was making 14 trips/year to New Mexico and buying jewelry from the Native Americans who were making it. On one of the trips, I bought a case of loose gemstones, and these are from that case. The largest measures 26x11x5.5 mm, the smallest is 16x7.5x3 mm, and the doublet is 18x13x6 mm (depth of the cab is measured to the bottom of the backing). Total weight of the three is over 6.7 grams, approximating 33+ carats. A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS.
