Description: "THE PAIN TRAIN" was the Engine company that covered the center of Sandy Springs, Ga while their old station 52 was demolished and rebuilt. The old station housed a Truck, Engine, Rescue and Battalion before it was demolished and rebuilt. During this process the Engine company covered the entire area solo for 2 years and responded to 9060 in that time frame. It didn't take long for the crews of Engine 52 to name it "THE PAIN TRAIN". Once the new station was built Engine 52 was reassigned to station 53 where it is now named "WESTSIDE RADIERS" and enjoys a slower pace.
