Despite these visible flaws, the sound quality is only mildly affected on both sides. Side 1, the sound defects are very faint, intermittent. Music is still strong and clear...quiet moments hold up and are clean. Side 2, the sound defects are a bit more noticeable, still mild; static and pops...quiet moments aren't as clean and clear as Side 1, still nice, though. -Gatefold jacket is worn and beaten up, as well. Extreme fading and aging on the front and back cover, with mild fading and ringwear inside the gatefold. Significant wear and fraying on the spine and seams, along with wear, rounding, and fraying at the corners. There is also a 5-inch split on the top seam, and a 2-inch tear on the inside gatefold seam. -Original inner sleeve, with lyrics, has a 4-inch split on the bottom seam. Visually, it shows it's age...worn and beaten up; however, to be over 50 years old, the music still sounds loud and great; the sound has held up, nice and clear. See photos for condition. VRD
