Description: Vintage original 8 x 10 in. US single-weight glossy keybook photograph from the 1930s historical comedy/drama, THE AFFAIRS OF CELLINI, released in 1934 by 20th Century Pictures and directed by Gregory La Cava, in which The famous 16th-century sculptor woos the Duchess of Florence despite the duke. The cast includes Constance Bennett, Fredric March, Frank Morgan, Fay Wray, Vince Barnett, Jessie Ralph, Louis Calhern, and Paul Harvey. The image features an on-set shot taken during a break in filming and depicts the film's star, Constance Bennett, in costume as the Duchess of Florence as she rests on a slant board to keep her dress from wrinkling while chatting with the film's director, Gregory La Cava, as another crew member watches. It has been linen-backed and is in very fine condition as shown. According to a 1934 newspaper article, Constance Bennett wore 20 costumes in the film. Weighed together, they amounted to 1,000 pounds of wardrobe. The heaviest of Bennett's costumes was 44 pounds, while the rest averaged about 30.
