Allowing you the luxury look and feel at a fraction of the cost. It is a lightweight crisp fabric that tends to billow more than drape. The dominant color is a very vibrant orange, even tho there is no orange thread in this :). This color is achieved by combining a thick red weft interwoven with a thick red warp. These two colors mix to create an iridescent orange appearing fabric with yellow highlights. Dupioni fabric is a plain-woven fabric. Using a fine yard on the warp and an uneven yarn on the weft. This creates visual and textural raised thin stripes in the fabric. The thread used here has a subtle sheen to it. giving it a subtle color refracting iridescence. This is a very versatile fabric.
