Description: Descriptions: Lot of 4 grapevine cuttings. If you plant them soon after receiving of them, new shoots normally start to show up in about 4 weeks. If you are in a cold region, you might want to start them in a pot indoor. Plant them in the yard after the last frost in the spring. Condition:Grape vine cuttings, from this year's growth, with no roots. Healthy and easy to grow. They are 10" to 11" in length, around 1/4" in thickness Variety:LadyFinger/MoonDrop Black Seedless. It grows well in our zone 8 area. Each year, we harvest a lot of large size, Elongated, seedless table grapes from this vine. Lady Finger is a mid-season harvest variety. We also carry the early season Thompson and the late season Crimson varieties in separate listings. In between these varieties, we get almost 5 months of endless fresh grapes from our own yard. When we have extra grapes that we cannot consume right away, we dry them under the sun to make homemade raisins. Sweet, meaty and tasty, we love to share these wonderful vines with you. Details: Each cutting we ship has a minimum of 2 nodes. New roots and new shoots normally grow from these nodes. If you plant them early enough, you should be able to taste a few of these grapes the first fall there. It takes another year or two for them to become full grown. They will then produce heavy crops for years to come. We also offer bareroot vines, which saves you one or two years of waiting time. If in season and available, you can find them by clicking here Please Note: After receiving of them, you might want to soak the vines in fresh water for a few hours before planting. To plant them, just make sure the flat end is on the top, the pointy (45° cutting) end is in the soil. Leave at least one node above the ground. New leaves should show up in a few weeks. After a few months of growth, you can cut off the dried-out section above the top node. The energy/nutrients stored in that section has helped the growth of the new roots/branches. More instructions will be sent with the shipment. To encourage better and heavy crops for this vine, "cane pruning" is highly suggested each winter. Please google it for details.
