Description: 1960 Scholastic Star Edition Abridged 1st Printing paperback of "Swiss Family Robinson" by Johann David Wyss. Illustrated by David Lockhart. 252 pages. Good to Acceptable condition. Wear, creasing, and some scuffs noted on cover front and back. Wear at top and bottom of binding. Some creasing along the side of the binding. Surface tear about an inch up from the binding. Binding is good. First bunch of bound pages folds over at the bottom due to manufacturing. Some spillage of the binding glue front and back between interior cover and pages. Discoloration and staining to page edges. First few pages and last page have some water marks at the top. Some page warping. Aging/yellowing of pages. No writing inside. See photos.
