Operation Speedtrap Chute™ blocker operation is controlled by hand with a rigid, yet flexible cable, that is loosely attached near the operators controls for convenience. The variable function of the device provides a more custom approach to discharge, allowing the user the ability to quickly and temporarily direct and deflect grass clippings to meet their situational needs, and minimize some of the typical pile ups that come from a full closure, thus increasing their efficiency. Operating example: As you approach a manicured area, simply reach down with your hand and pull on the cable until the chute plate drops into the fully closed position or into a variable position, depending on your situational needs. Once completing the area, pull back on the cable and the chute will pivot back into resting position. While in the variable positions, control and adjust the angle of deflection by holding the plate partially open with the cable, taking care to steer properly. After clearing the protected area, gently pull on the cable further, pivoting the chute plate back up into its resting position on the deck. Rinse and repeat. Why Speedtrap Chute™?
