Spectacular Mahogany Empire Bed c1830

Description: Being offered for sale is an American Empire Bed circa 1830. Made of solid Mahogany, I mean the post are solid not hollow, very heavy. Turned finials top the turned carved post. The headboard slots in the post and is very sturdy. Double bolts hold this bed together. Note, the bolt hole covers, sorry, I put one on upside down. The bed rails have been extended to accommodate a queen size mattress when laying the mattress on top of the rails. Please view and enlarge all photos to get a good look.
