Description: Sony WM-D6 professional walkman player/recorder with case. Cosmetically the unit is in excellent condition, with no scratches or dents. Small amount of wear around the push buttons, but this is normal. Case and battery compartment are in almost new condition. Please see pics. **For the buy it now price I will include an original Sony carrying strap in good condition.** The following repairs and maintenance have been completed: -Replaced belts and rubber rollers. -Removed and repaired the servo control unit. Failure causes fast playback speed. -Repaired/replaced muting module -Cleaned and lubed all internal linkages and push button levers. -Cleaned all electrical jacks, volume slider and record level potentiometer. -Checked tape speed and wow-and-flutter. Speed is correct and wow/flutter is good -Checked the speed tune function (working properly) -Tested all functions, including playback, record, FF, REW and dolby. Dolby recordings sound nice and clear. I used Sony HF-S tape, which sounded very good.
