Description: Pre WWII Dog Tag Nice original WWII period dog tag. I just purchased a large advanced collection of original WWI & WWII period dog tags and there are some super tags in this collection. There are a lot of early 42 - 43 dated next of kin tags included in this collection as well that have super looking patina to them just like you want too see. There will be lots of opportunities for you guys who like to do research on these early tags as there is no telling what is in this collection. This is a well worn tag and is an M1924 variation. The little tab has just been broken off and you can make out where it was at one time. I cannot really make out what the last name is exactly.
