Scarce 1930's Rectangular Art Deco Rose Gold & Stainless Steel Mans Rolex 3893

Description: Up for sale is a vintage Art Deco rose gold and stainless steel mans rectangular Rolex watch. This reference number 3893 watch was made in the 1930's. The case measures 36mm by 21mm. While this watch was a mans watch when it was originally made, it is probably now more well suited for a woman. This is a very scarce model which is rarely encountered and is in very original condition. The case has some pitting on the stainless parts, especially the case back. This can probably be repaired by someone who is skilled with a laser welder. The copper colored dial still retains its original finish. The original thick flat beveled glass crystal has a few nicks on the edges. The 17 jewel movement is in good running condition. I don't know when it was last serviced, so it may be due for a cleaning. The watch has a brand new honey colored genuine lizard strap. The strap and buckle are not Rolex.
