Description: This unique antique mancala board game was acquired around the year 2000 in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. Similar items originate from Southeast Asia and that is suspected as the location where this item was made. It is hand carved and hand painted. It is solid wood weighing approx. 25 pounds. This is a pre-owned item with minor wear. Please see photos for close-ups of detail, paint, and any wear (both sides of the unit have been captured in the attached photos). The game is approx. 41-42 inches long and approx. 24 inches tall with a width of approx. 7 inches. The heads on the end lift out for easier transport. They sit in the ends via notches. This item, while can be used to play Mancala, is more of an artistic piece. If I had a spot in my home I would have it displayed as it's very unique with exceptional hand carved detail. Note: Packing will be done with extreme care (bubble wrap and custom box). This process will be videotaped.
