Description: For your consideration is a women/girl's tunic style long dress w/ a tie belt. In past times purple was an expensive color so it was worn by the upper classes, royalty, or a goddess in the Viking, Celtic, or Roman world. This tunic is cut shorter making knee to ankle length depending on height & whether it's being worn by a woman or a girl, so see the length measurement below. It is French seamed for fray prevention & longevity of wear. The straight-cut neckline is slightly turned under (purple stitching) & tie tacked at 3" intervals w/ 2 shades of purple. It is short sleeved w/ the sleeve edges hemmed w/ the 2 shades of purple top stitching. The bottom of the dress is adorned w/ a beautiful, high quality trim w/ a flower design (cornflowers?) of soft gold on purple. The tie belt is a gold sparkle, sheer ribbon w/ a purple crochet trim added in the center 37". Bottom hem is the natural selvage edge of the fabric. All trims are sewn on by hand for a quality look.
