I've collected hats & hat boxes for decades...and due to my age and my children's lack of interest, I am parting with most of my collection. Stephen L. Stetson was a hatmaker and used his name on his hats & advertising. The lawsuit started in 1934 and a ruling was issued in 1936 which required Mr. Stephen L. Stetson to put a disclaimer on his products. This box contains that disclaimer. This is the BOX only, no hat. There is damage to one side, bottom and writing on 2 sides. Please see pictures for imperfections.
