Description: RARE Vintage 2010 Hallmark™ The Monster Mash WITH-SOUNDS ~ NOT THE PLAIN-BOOK ED - Don't be Confused with all of the others here for sale that don't have sound. There should be 'A FUN AND SPOOKY BOOK WITH SOUND' written under the title in smaller print, and there should be 8 exposed buttons off to the side of the book on the side that opens. The buttons are the 8 sound buttons, attached to the back, hard cover of the book. - Brand New Batteries Included - All 8 Button-Sounds Work and are Nice, Clear, and Loud - The book was purchased second hand from a family who had children who used the book. That is evident in some of the blemishes throughout the book, but these are minimal, and all are small, like a crinkled portion of a page, or a very small tear at the bottom of a page, etc. - There's no writing, nor marks in the book, and most of the book has button 'cues' on the page for your child to press, to go along with the story/lyrics. - When I purchased the book, I thought something was wrong with the electronics. The sounds were stopping early, and were somewhat acting up, but all it was were low batteries. Once I put in the new batteries, everything is working 100% fine. NO BATTERY LEAKAGE. So after awhile, when you have it, if things start to sound goofy, it's time to replace the batteries. There's an easy access compartment on the inside of the back cover. The battery compartment lid is held in place by one of the normal 'toy' type Phillips screws. The book takes 3, LR44 watch type batteries (INCLUDED/NEW). I get them here on eBay for like $3, or $4 free shipping, for about 10 of them. Very cheap.
