Description: Offered here is a vintage a RARE Commodore 1541-II disk drive that was offered for use with the new redesigned Commodore 64C and 128. Drive is in excellent condition and seems to work fine. This one is a rarer release as the Commodore label is Spelled with a capiatla C. Most were not. There is some light yellowing especially on the front. Passed all the test I could perform. Super quiet. When testing there were times I was not sure it was working but it functioned without issues. Includes original manual and protective insert. Packaging shows wear and stains but is solid. Nice working example, Remember these drives are now 40 years old! I remembering paying 549 for a VIC 20! NOTE power supply included is 220v. Because of the nature of vintage electronics the drive is sold "as is" - "parts or repair". No warranty or returns. Although the drive does function as I describe, it may need cleaning/ repair and/or adjustment to operate at optimum efficiency - unsure. Please check out my other listings. Buyer pays shipping.
