It is signed D Patty, I have not been able to uncover much about the artist. It appears to depict a native or indigenous mother & child, I would venture to say Canadian or Alaskan. I am unsure the exact year of creation, I estimate the 1930s-40s, but it could be earlier / later. The visually stimulating design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely wont have! A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor It is in good condition, with no major damage. It is unframed unmatted. It has no tears or major stains. One light crease that leaves a small raised piece of paper on the bridge of the womans nose- this could be repaired but is also flattened when framed- see photos.
