Description: This is a Great War period Swiss hall marked solid silver trench watch in working order. It has a mark on the rear door to signify it was issued at some stage, maybe. The correct hands and black dial are in good condition for its age retaining some of the original luminous material. The black dial is free from cracks. The sub seconds at 6 o’clock is highlighted by a white dial inset. Both the bezel and the rear door hinges appear to be in good order, the crystal is clear with minimal wear related scratches. The case has age related marks so please look at the photographs. The watch winds and sets from the crown and the timing keeping is good for this period of watch.
