In these important photos you see Marilyn on stage at the Madison Square Garden for a fundraiser celebrating President (JFK) John F Kennedy's 45thbirthday. Marilyn would show up late and would be introduced to the crowd by Peter Lawford who introduced Marilyn as "The Late Marilyn Monroe". It's ironic because a few months later she would be found dead in her apartment. This scene was one of the most iconic moments of her career where she sang "Happy Birthday Mr. President". There has only been a couple photos that have surfaced from the Life Magazine photoshoot led by photographer Bill Ray. A couple of the other photographs have comps from $15k-$20k for a close-up backside of her. Now you will see a zoomed out version that opens up the door into what was actually happening during that moment. The cake is absolutely ridiculous! The other photo is even more special since we now have a front side view of her at the podium which was the view that JFK got to witness.
