I package with cardstock or heavier weight paper protecting both sides of the card. I am happy to combine shipping if you buy more than one item from me. Normally you will only pay shipping for the first card. My shipping charge includes a small handling and packing materials charge, which covers the cost of the packaging and transportation to a post office.
