I would buy items like this at Train Shows or Train Auctions when I could find Like New or Mint Condition Items. I have them on hand as spares or when expanding my layout. It operates perfectly!! The box is in pretty nice shape; yes, the end flaps are torn loose, but they are there! The insert is still there too! I'm now 78 yrs. old and selling off my Train Collection.
