Carlo Demand was an accomplished German artist and prolific illustrator. Motorsports artists as accomplished as Peter Helck were impressed by Demand's skill. Helck wrote about Demand: "...the very best of these works are beyond my skills. There are a dozen in the [print] set which amaze me and I believe [one of them] to be just about the finest racing bit of art I have ever seen." As published in the Carlo Demand and Michael Riedner book, Porsche Renngeschichte in Bildern (Racing History in Pictures). Print is rendered on an acid-free bright white book stock. Printed back.
